How we started
When i was little, i had a hamster. I wasn't much of a hamster person, so after a while of just me and my dogs i saw a guinea pig while searching cute things on the internet.
I did alot of research and after a while of reading up on the guinea pigs, i thought it was the animal for me. I worked hard at proving to my parents that i was responsible, and after a while, my mom decided to help me adopt one.
We found a little young female guinea pig with brown and white fur. I named the cutie pie Aela, and we became close friends.
I have taken very good care of her, and she squeals every time i walked into my bedroom.
However, upon first reading up about guinea pigs, i found alot of information to be false. Some sites said pine was fine, while others didn't. I ended up getting pine when i first got her, and after a few weeks she started having health problems, so we quickly switched over to carefresh and started nursing her back to health.
Right now, she lives by herself because i am homeschooled and i have the time in the day to play with her and hold her when she wants to. However, she will be getting a buddy when i go back to school in the fall of 2014.
Thank you guys for coming to Cavy Helper, your go-to guide :)
Love all of you dollies,
